In Table 1, the baseline general characteristics of the patients at the beginning of the study, where there was no significant difference in the means of age, BMI, serum total testosterone, LH, FSH, and E2 between the three groups, and also there was no statistically significant difference regarding the presence of eunuchoidism, anosmia, cryptorchidism, testicular volume, and previous history of testosterone therapy. This evidence concerns the gene PLOD1 and Kallmann syndrome.
