As an oncogene, ALKBH5 is upregulated in a variety of cancer tissues compared to non-cancerous tissues, including breast cancer (BC) (145), glioma and glioblastoma (146, 147), lung cancer (148, 149), ovarian cancer (150), acute myeloid leukemia (AML) (151, 152), GC (153), and colon cancer (154).
