SMC4 and liver cancer: In vitro, the results of the cell invasion experiment, scratch repair experiment, and cell clone formation experiment of liver cancer cells confirmed that the migration rate of liver cancer cells transfected with SMC4 interference vector group decreased significantly, and the proliferation rate decreased from 100% to 73.4%, suggesting that SMC4 plays an exceedingly critical role in promoting the proliferation and invasion of liver cancer cells (16).
