Interestingly, although tumors in mHCC1 displayed the highest infiltration of cytotoxic cells including CD8+ T cells, Tgd, and NK cells, mHCC1 was the subtype with both poorest prognosis and highest T cell exhaustion score (Figure 6B), suggesting that the tumor microenvironment of mHCC1 was immune-hot but highly immune-exhausted type.
