Herein, we describe a subset of patients with SS who were positive for anti-Ro52 without anti-Ro60/La (isolated anti-Ro52) with higher disease activity (ESSDAI) and increased incidence of cryoglobulinaemia, compared to patients with anti-Ro60/La and those that were seronegative to these autoantibodies. The gene discussed is TRIM21; the disease is synovial sarcoma.
