Recent advances in gene sequence technology and transcriptome analyses revealed that MPM cells have mutations in tumor-suppressor genes, such as BAP1, NF2, RASSF1, LATS2WT1, p16, TP53, and CDKN2A, whereas it is not clear molecular targeting strategy is effective for the eradication of MPM cells (25–27). The gene discussed is RASSF1; the disease is neoplasm.
