In summary, the current study highlights that STYK1 expression is upregulated in NSCLC, that overexpression of STYK1 is associated with worse prognosis, that STYK1 is positively correlated with GPX4, and that overexpression of STYK1 inhibits ferroptosis in NSCLC cells, which provides a new opportunity to study the oncogenic mechanisms of STYK1. Here, STYK1 is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
