To further explore the effect of LOXL2 on the migration and invasion of ESCC cells, we performed Transwell assays, and in TE-1 cells, cell migration and invasion were significantly reduced after LOXL2 silencing (migration, P < 0.01; invasion, P < 0.01) (Fig. 3c, e). The gene discussed is LOXL2; the disease is esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
