The imprinted oncofetal lncRNA H19 is identified as a carcinogenic lncRNA in a variety of cancers (Shermane Lim et al. 2021). Intriguingly, lncRNA H19 has also recently become a new research hotspot in arthritic diseases. Emerging evidence has demonstrated the critical involvement of lncRNA H19 in the proliferation and inflammatory response of synovial fibroblasts during the process of rheumatoid arthritis and GA (Fu et al. 2021; Xue et al. 2022).
