CSF3 and Decreased total neutrophil count: Current evidence indicates that both approaches are safe and effective.421 Importantly, currently available evidence indicates that long-term use of G-CSF is not associated with significant morbidity in other patient populations.422 Therefore, such a strategy has been proposed for patients in which discontinuation of G-CSF results in recurrent neutropenia.421 Long-term safety and efficacy data are currently lacking, however.419,421,423, , –426
