Based on the Forest plot and the findings of Cox assessment (Figure 3A), TPM4 is an adverse factor for overall survival (OS) in ACC, CESC, CHOL, DLBC, ESCC, HNSC, KIRC, KIRP, LIHC, LUAD, LUSC, MESO, PAAD, STAD, UCEC, and UVM (P < 0.05, HR > 1), whereas it acts as a potentially beneficial factor in COAD, COADREAD, OS, and PCPG (P < 0.05, HR < 1). This evidence concerns the gene TPM4 and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma.
