It should be noted that while neratinib was the single EGFR/HER2 inhibitor identified as matching both ER/UPR and autophagy gene signatures, four other EGFR inhibitor drugs showed significant matches with the autophagy signatures of the glomerulopathies (Supplementary Table S13), strengthening the validity of neratinib as a candidate autophagy-inducing drug. This evidence concerns the gene ERBB2 and glomerular disorder.
