INS and type 2 diabetes mellitus: Patients with T2DM used oral medications at a higher frequency: biguanide (70.4%), sulfonylurea (31.4%), DPP4 inhibitor (26.8%), SGLT2 inhibitor (21.9%) and pioglitazone (4.4%); regarding injectables, 2.0% were in use of GLP1 and 27.3% were in use of a type of insulin.
