Additionally, multiple proteases were detected in the secretome of cervical cancer cells, such as ADAM10 (disintegrin and metalloproteinase domain-containing protein 10), CTSD (cathepsin D), and SOD2 (superoxide dismutase [Mn], mitochondrial), and some of them were dysregulated such as TIMP1 (metalloproteinase inhibitor 1) and TIMP2, which were reported to be upregulated, whereas MMP2 (matrix metalloproteinase-2) and MMP9 were not identified [49].
