IKZF1 and plasma cell myeloma: In our effort to establish AST factors as effective anti-metastatic targets, we provide the first reference that thalidomide-derivatives, which are used to treat hematologic malignancies such as multiple myeloma [30], targets IKZF1 for degradation [26, 27], thus effectively impair AST factor-induced reprogramming of anchorage dependency in solid tumor cells.
