George Giannakoulas et al. reviewed 26 studies related to PAH-CHD systematically, and found that compared with healthy controls, PAH-CHD patients had higher B type natriuretic peptide (BNP) and NT-proBNP, and they suggested that BNP might be simple and effective markers for the prognosis and timing of treatment intervention of PAH-CHD [6]. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and coronary artery disorder.
