IL1B and rheumatoid arthritis: In this study, we evaluated the anti-rheumatoid arthritis effects of a set of 2-SC (Figure 1) presenting hydroxy (-OH) and methoxy (-OCH3) substituents by studying their role in IL-1β-treated human fibroblast-like synoviocytes (HFLS) cells and examining their impact on the protein expression of several inflammatory and catabolic events crucial for RA development.
