AKT1 and atherosclerosis: The reactome pathway analysis indicated that the MAPK signaling pathway, nuclear-receptors metapathway, and IL-18 signaling pathway may be related to the PF-activated browning mechanism, as shown in Figure 3A. The KEGG pathway analysis screened out 155 pathways with statistical significance, including the PI3K-Akt signaling pathway, MAPK signaling pathway, AGE-RAGE signaling pathway in diabetic complications, estrogen signaling pathway, and lipid and atherosclerosis.
