As shown in Figure 4, ISO-induced cardiac hypertrophy was alleviated considerably by naringenin, as demonstrated by the reduced cell size, HW/BW ratio, HW/TL ratio (Figure 4A–C), and expression of hypertrophic marker genes (ANP, BNP, and β-MHC) (Figure 4D). This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and cardiac hypertrophy.
