Two major subsets of murine DCs, cDC1 (characterized as CD8α+ splenic DCs or CD103+ CD11b− pulmonary DCs) and cDC2 (characterized as CD8α− splenic DCs or CD103− CD11b+ pulmonary DCs), reported posing distinct potentials for inducing protective immunity against C. muridarum respiratory infection [14,15], were detected. This evidence concerns the gene ITGAM and respiratory tract infectious disorder.
