PCNA and neoplasm: Isovitexin suppressed tumor growth and decreased the tumor size of U2OS-SC xenografts in nude mice, which was complemented via reduced levels of CD133 protein, raised apoptotic index, reduction in the expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), decreased DNMT1 expression and activity, enhanced miR-34a, and reduced Bcl-2 levels.
