Table 4 summarizes the association between hormones and PCOS in the study groups. Here, in the present study, the serum level of FSH and PRL showed a non-significant difference between the control group and PCOS groups (p > 0.05), while LH, estrogen, SHGB, female total and free testosterone, and DHEAS showed a significant difference and a highly significant difference between the control group and PCOS groups (p < 0.05) and (p < 0.001). This evidence concerns the gene PRL and polycystic ovary syndrome.
