Patients with ulcerative colitis and atherosclerosis had higher levels of erythrocyte sedimentation rate (p = 0.000), CRP (p = 0.000), Ag PLT ADP (p = 0.000), Ag PLT ASPI (p = 0.000), Ag PLT TRAP (p = 0.000), leukocyte (p = 0.000), platelet count (p = 0.001), and fecal calprotectin values (p = 0.000) when compared to the patients with atherosclerosis only. Here, CRP is linked to ulcerative colitis.
