Significantly, the Bonferroni’s correction showed that the MND mimics had significantly higher levels of CHI3L1 compared with the MND patients (p = 0.002) and HCs (p = 0.023), and that the HSP patients had higher levels of CHI3L1 compared with the MND patients (p = 0.03). Here, CHI3L1 is linked to hereditary spastic paraplegia.
