By measuring the level of related ferritin in osteosarcoma cells, it was confirmed that TPZ induced a significant decrease in the expression of key ferroptosis proteins such as SLC7A11 and GPX4, an increase in MDA and Fe2+, and promoted the production of excessive ROS and induced ferroptosis in osteosarcoma cells under hypoxia. This evidence concerns the gene GPX4 and osteosarcoma.
