SMAD3 and Hand-foot syndrome: Further investigation of the mechanism by which ADSC-Exos mitigate the effects of DHT showed that miR-122-5p was a highly enriched component of the ADSC-Exos miRNA expression profile and that it modulated the TGF-β signaling pathway by targeting SMAD3 to reduce the effects of DHT on HFs growth, thus restoring their normal growth.
