Taking into account the obtained results of the analysis shown in the paper (Table 4; Level of FOXP3+ depending on selected environmental factors), we concluded that it can be suspected that environmental factors, both protective ones that increase the level of FOXP3, as in the case of breastfeeding or more frequent cleaning at home, as well as the negative ones that lower the level of FOXP3, as in the presence of other allergic diseases, may affect the risk of asthma, respectively, protectively or by causing the development of the disease. The gene discussed is FOXP3; the disease is asthma.
