CAR-T cells targeting B-cell activating factor receptor (BAFF-R), which is a B-cell specific marker, showed activity against human lymphoma and leukemia lines in vitro and in mouse models, and were active against CD19 negative targets, supporting further investigation of this target in clinical trials, including for relapsed disease post CD19 CAR-T cells [72,73]. This evidence concerns the gene TNFRSF13C and lymphoma.
