EGFR and skin reaction: The management of skin reactions has been proposed, namely via pre-emptive treatment such as the STEPP (Skin Toxicity Evaluation Protocol with Panitumumab) and J-STEPP (randomized controlled trial on the skin toxicity of panitumumab in Japanese patients with metastatic colorectal cancer), which showed that pre-emptive treatment can reduce skin reactions caused by EGFR treatment [12,13,14].
