Research by Wang’s group [32] demonstrated that the ITGB2/FAK/SOX6 (focal adhesion kinase/SRY-box containing gene 6) pathway was activated to promote metastasis, invasion, and glycolysis in nasopharyngeal carcinoma via phosphorylation and protein interactions, which may offer a novel target for the therapy of nasopharyngeal carcinoma. This evidence concerns the gene ITGB2 and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
