In a study of 13 patients with acral melanoma harboring BRAF V600E mutations treated with vemurafenib, the overall response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) were 61.5% and 92.3%, respectively; median progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS) were 5.4 (95% CI: 3.5–8.7) and 11.7 (95% CI: 8.1–23.6) months [65].
