Increased risk of AKI was associated with elevated admission SCr (p = 0.0001, OR = 2.406, 95% CI= 1.56–3.70), vasopressor requirement (p = 0.0001, OR = 3.188, 95% CI = 1.69–5.98), elevated D-Dimer on day 1 (p = 0.008, OR = 1.0001, 95% CI = 1.000–1.0010), and elevated CRP on day 2 (p = 0.033, OR = 1.004, 95% CI = 1.0001–1.009). Here, CRP is linked to acute kidney injury.
