Using a well-defined ovarian cancer model which was demonstrated with hypermethylated promoter, Wang, li et al. [31] found that activation of the Ras pathway upregulates the expression of DNA methyltransferases (DNMTs), and Ras-responsive transcription factors (RRTF) may recruit DNMTs to the RRAD promoter to induce DNA methylation. Here, RRAD is linked to ovarian carcinoma.
