Based on the Ki67 index, CMTs were also distinguished into high and low proliferative tumors, and there is ample evidence that malignant tumors with increased tumor cell proliferation, as measured by the Ki67 index, are associated with a poor prognosis [53,54]; furthermore, the significant positive correlation between the Ki67 index and miRNA expression observed here confirms the prognostic value of these two biomarkers. This evidence concerns the gene MKI67 and neoplasm.
