Our findings demonstrated that coculture CRC cells enhanced NF-κB activation in both types of BMDMs whereas the extent of NF-κB activation was even higher in anti-Act1 BMDMs than that in wildtype BMDMs, indicating that Act1 probably was not a sole regulator of NF-κB activation in macrophages. The gene discussed is NFKB1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
