From our recent study (Tiss et al., 2022) on the impact of motion correction on longitudinal [18F]MK-6240 tau clinical brain scans, we found that 95% of the cohort of 65 subjects (55 Cognitively Normal, 7 with Mild Cognitive Impairment, and 3 with Alzheimer’s Disease) exhibited motion with an average displacement of 0.66 mm in X, 1.04 mm in Y, and 0.83 mm in Z axis. The gene discussed is MAPT; the disease is Cognitive impairment.
