Research by Wang et al. indicated that RA patients have significantly increased levels of methyltransferase-like 3 (METTL3) expression, which is positively correlated to disease activity [10], and it has been demonstrated that the METTL3 expression increases in HCC and facilitates cancer cell proliferation, metastasis, and colony formation [11].
