Finally, B cell-activating factor (BAFF) suppressed IL-15 production by B cells in mouse models of autoimmune diseases (lupus-like and experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis) (87), suggesting that BAFF inhibition could be associated with IL-15 inhibition to prevent accumulation and activation of CD8 T cells.
