ACSL1, encoding an isozyme of the long-chain fatty-acid-coenzyme in a ligase family, is downregulate by MiR-27a-3p and MiR-205 to increase the risk of liver cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma respectively (Cui et al., 2014; Sun et al., 2020; Quan et al., 2021). Here, ACSL1 is linked to hepatocellular carcinoma.
