Goodarzi et al. identified a new class of tRFs produced by tRNAGlu, tRNAAsp, tRNAGly, and tRNATyr, which inhibit the stability of multiple oncogenic transcripts in breast cancer cells by binding to and replacing the 3′UTR in the mRNA-binding protein, YBX1, and preventing transcription [78]. The gene discussed is YBX1; the disease is breast carcinoma.
