The spectrum of frequently mutated genes is similar to those reported in various types of urothelial carcinoma (e.g. mutations in KMT2D, KDM6A, and ARID1A) (Supplementary file 1f; Robertson et al., 2017; Nassar et al., 2019; Su et al., 2021). Here, ARID1A is linked to urothelial carcinoma.
