The current results were consistent with the research conclusions in hematological tumors (Barghout et al., 2019; Obiorah et al., 2021) and small cell lung cancer (Majeed et al., 2021), indicating that targeting UBA1 could increase the tumor cell sensitivity to IR, and the combined treatment of TAK-243 and IR may be a promising potential way to cure tumors.
