RIPK2 and cancer: Even though these type II kinase inhibitors are approved anti-cancer medications (their corresponding AR can be accessed by following the links for ponatinib (EMA, 2013a), regorafenib (EMA, 2013b), and sorafenib (EMA, 2007)), the broad kinase selectivity of these drugs prohibited their application as RIPK2 inhibitors in clinics.
