Bayesian Markov chain Monte Carlo modeling revealed that Bovine lactoferrin + Lactobacillus rhamnosus had the highest probability of having the lowest rate of NEC (SUCRA 95.7%; Figure 3), followed by Lactobacillus rhamnosus + Lactobacillus plantarum + Lactobacillus casei + Bifidobacterium lactis (SUCRA 89.4%), and Bifidobacterium lactis + inulin (SUCRA 77.8%). The gene discussed is LTF; the disease is necrotizing enterocolitis.
