In the previous period, the relationship between glucose metabolism disorders and ischemic cardiomyopathy, hypertension, and coronary artery disease was mainly studied; from 2000 to 2011, research focused on the mechanisms of intrinsic associations between diseases, including plasminogen activator inhibbitor1, adiponectin, cholesterol, and c reactive protein; in the past 6 years, more attention has been paid to the association between insulin resistance and TIA, ischemia-reperfusion injury and Alzheimer's disease. Here, CRP is linked to glucose metabolism disease.
