CD34 and Miyoshi myopathy: In a retrospective study with 508 MM patients, a threshold of 2.00–2.50 × 106 CD34+ cells/kg in PBSCs transplantation was associated with adequate engraftment, but accelerated hematological reconstitution and reduced hospitalization with higher cell doses of ≥ 6.55 × 106 cells/kg with selected CD34+ cells and ≥ 7.50 × 106 cells/kg with non-selected CD34+ cells [11].
