To determine the effect of GSK3326595 treatment on macrophage polarization and atherosclerosis susceptibility in vivo, atherosclerosis‐susceptible hypercholesterolemic LDL receptor knockout mice were intraperitoneally injected three times per week with 5 mg/kg GSK3326595 or a similar volume of the solvent control (100 μL 10% DMSO in PBS) while being fed a Western‐type diet enriched in cholesterol and fat for 9 weeks. This evidence concerns the gene LDLR and atherosclerosis.
