MS4A7 and glioblastoma: This study demonstrates for the first time that the expression of MS4A7 and its main expression product MS4A7-s in GAMs, as it can promote the polarization of GAMs to M2-type, is a robust predictor of poor prognosis in GBM patients with the ability to maintain the growth of GBM cells, suggesting that targeting MS4A7-s function might be a promising treatment for GBM.
