Intriguingly, either within GBM or glioma, MS4A7 has a strong positive correlation with CD163 (Fig. 1I, R = 0.69, P < 0.05; Additional file 1: Fig. S2E, R = 0.75, P < 0.05), IL-10 (Additional file 1: Fig. S2F, R = 0.79, P < 0.05; Additional file 1: Fig. S2G, R = 0.78, P < 0.05) and MSR1 (Additional file 1: Fig. S2H, R = 0.86, P < 0.05, Additional file 1: Fig. S2I, R = 0.83, P < 0.05), and an extremely weak correlation with IFNG (Fig. 1J, R = 0.14, P > 0.05, Additional file 1: Fig. S2J, R = 0.068, P > 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene CD163 and central nervous system cancer.
