PTK2 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia: Similarly to BCR-ABL driven chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) cells in which the treatment with imatinib (BCR-ABL tyrosine kinase activity inhibitor) was able to abrogate the huge MAPK pathway activation [36–38], PF573228 and Magnolin down-regulated the activation of MAPK pathway in T-ALL cells and constrained the cell invasion, which suggested that FAK-MAPK acts as a signal pathway downstream integrin β3 to regulate invasion of T-ALL cells.
