To explore the potential pathways by which ZNF687 accelerates tumor growth through modulating cell cycle progression, the protein and mRNA levels of eight cell cycle key genes were examined, including p53, p21, p27, cyclin‐dependent kinase 2 (CDK2), cyclin‐dependent kinase 4 (CDK4), cyclin‐dependent kinase 6 (CDK6), cyclin D1 (CCND1) and cyclin D3 (CCND3).
